SCRIPTURE FOOD FOR THOUGHT~THE ONLY WAY TO TRUE HAPPINESS…….

To find true happiness, one can only aspire, to find God. In finding God, one will see:

IN HIS PRESENCE, IS FULLNESS OF JOY. Psalms 16:11

Seeking God, imitating God, and His attributes, but more then anything giving Him glory, praying, reading His word…Never being ashamed of who you are in Christ….BLESSING THE LORD!

These are the things, that develop your relationship with the Lord.  Doing everything, you can to stir up love, because He is love, brings Him, into any situation.  Being thankful, being obedient.  Being cheerful, and kind, compassionate, generous, as Christ was.  He is the greatest example.

Each one, has this responsibility, on their own, to develop their relationship with God, through Jesus Christ.  He is the only way, the truth, and life, John 14:6.  There is no other way, people spend their time, wasted, when they think their is another path to God there is not.  

Its not always in the grand things, but in the simple pleasures, of life, where He is with you, in those quiet moments, that express and speak to you.  His love.  This is happiness. 

If you want true happiness, joy, you have to seek God.  There is no other true source of Happiness, but to find Him.  Secure your Salvation.  

Jesus, will guide you…..by the Holy Spirit.

My Prayer of Hope….

Father, I choose to be happy, I choose to go on.  It is a choice.  Always a choice.  A state of being with you.   Wherever I am.  I choose to walk with you, and seek you, and call on you.  You are the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, and I must discipline myself, in this relationship.  I must nurture it, I must seek you, in everything, I do.  I can be at peace, I can have joy, even in the hardest of times, only because, you walk with me, and talk with me.  You protect me, and speak to me, and give me wisdom.  I can only survive, because of you.  Lord, I know  you are the only true source of happiness.  And I thank you, that I have found that secret.  In quiet moments, and even in moments, where I separate myself from the noise.  You make me happy Lord.  I love you.  In Jesus name.  Amen

SCRIPTURE FOOD FOR THOUGHT~WHATS YOUR MOTIVE TO GOSSIP? WRONG!

AND WITHAL THEY LEARN TO BE IDLE, WANDERING FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE, AND NOT ONLY IDLE, BUT TATTLERS ALSO AND BUSYBODIES, SPEAKING THINGS WHICH THEY OUGHT NOT. 

I Timothy 5:13

Sometimes, people like to talk, just to talk.  Maybe not even planning on being a host for gossip, or with the intention, to spoil a moment.  But think about the atmosphere, think about, what happens, when this does happen, the spirit, of the Holy Spirit leaves.  What brings Gods presence, into a situation?  LOVE!

I am learning, not to always advertise bad news.  Or negative situations.  Bad situations.  What else can you call it but gossip? Give no place to the enemy.  To the devil.  Gods word tells us to submit to God.  We have to remember, not to contribute to these moments.  Because the devil is defeated, by the blood of Jesus.  So, we have to remember the sacrifice of Christ.  We have to remember, not to take advantage, of His grace in these matters.  Again repentance….because we all have done it.  I am sure.  We need to grow up as Christians, in Christ, as His child, but mature, in spiritual matters.   Again, remember the devil is at work in this.  And who else would he love to use but Christians against Christian, in a matter of gossip?  Remember he is the accuser of the brethren.  Revelations 12:10 

I think the one, excuse, that puts my red flag up, is when Christians, go to other Christians, and say, we need to pray for this person, and then spill the beans, about someone.  And it may not even be true, but they use that as a front to gossip.  Have you ever thought, that maybe its love, to not say something?  Love covers a multitude of sins. Proverbs 10:12.  Maybe one should just pray about it privately, instead of slandering, or hurting someones reputation.  In gossip….  

Sometimes, I think, we think, we are being informative, or even exposing things to the light. But unless the Lord, light that candle, its just darkness, reproducing darkness. Something to pray about…..

My Prayer Of Hope….

Father, I ask for wisdom, for myself, and yes the reader in this.  Lord, deliver us from evil.  Deliver us from the traps of the enemy.  To not judge, to not gossip, about one another.  Yes, we can pray for one another, but Lord, sometimes, I detect, the enemy, just using this to gossip.  To give someone an outlet, to plant a seed to judge.  Lord, you tell us, to concentrate, on good reports.  On good things, on you, the beauty of who you are.  Yes, we can  be comfortable with some, and share, but I think if we keep a good balance in this, to not judge, or gossip, then we are protecting the love, for that person.  As well.  And perhaps protecting our own souls.  Lord, I just pray, may my motivation, be in love, to you, and to others.  To not share a bad report, about someone else.  That person is your child too.  Teach us, to not gossip.  In Jesus name.  Amen

SCRIPTURE FOOD FOR THOUGHT~ARE YOU AWARE YOU ARE TURNING PEOPLE OFF, BECAUSE OF YOUR NEGATIVITY? YOU DON’T WANT TO DO THAT. BE AN INSPIRATION!

My Soul is weary of my life: I will leave my complaint upon myself; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul.  

Job 10:1

Have you ever noticed, when you are sad, got the blues, it is hard, to keep your faith lifted up?  It is hard, to be positive.  It is hard to be inspiring…..and inspired. 

It seems like you just have to go through the flow, of the sorrow, with prayer, and the word, of God, seeking God, to get it out of your system, and move on.  Only then can you also be an inspiration, only then, can you be hopeful to others.  Because you will become a testimony.

Be careful, to not give someone your sorrow.  Or complaints….Over, and over again.  Sure, its good, to have friends, to share with, and one must be grateful, to have someone to share with.  I thank God, for grace, in these matters.  

But if you are constantly accenting on the negative, complaining, they can’t handle it.  Even the best of them, will finally, just turn away from you, or just tell you, time to snap out of it.  Oh that would hurt.

So, we have to catch ourselves, so we won’t be a hindrance to someone else’s faith.  To discourage them as well.  You know, I don’t care who you are, you have a hurt or something, that is bothering you, as well.  We all do, but sometimes, we have to take our eyes off of our problems, and just love somebody else, no matter what.  Extending grace, because we don’t always know, why people, go through, what they do.  Or why they are, the way, they are.  

So, when we take our eyes off of our problem, and look to God, then we can become an instrument for the Lord in faith.  I just want to encourage you.  Because this can go both ways, in our relationships.  Be positive, for yourself, and others.

You really want to be used by God, and deep inside, you want to be inspiration, but you have to see, what your sharing…..

Maybe even now your angry, with someone for getting mad at you, for complaining.  Or visa versa.  Forgive them.  We all need to love one another, and forgive each other.  But letting go, of the complaints…..

Trust God, and His word, for that inspiration, that will help you, but help others.  He hears your soul, and knows….Trust Him, and believe, for that release.

My Prayer of Hope…

Father, ironic, I write this today, thank you Lord, for your grace.  Your mercy, for understanding, my frustration.  But reminding me, I have to think of others as well.  What am I doing, to someone, if all I am doing is complaining?  Venting, over and over again?  Its just not healthy, I know, Lord, that many times, I have had to go to someone myself, and just apologize, if I over did it.  Pouring myself out.  But, I am so glad I can go to you.  I don’t always have to tell someone, my problems, but I can tell you, my problems, my frustrations, and  you understand.  And more then that you can change me, and the situation.  Forgiveness, how sweet it is….even to ourselves, but not dumping on others, our problems, over and over again.  This brings some wisdom.  Thank you Lord.  And thank you, for friends, who have extended grace, in matters, where I over did it.  I want to have that grace for them, as well.  Your love.  We are all human, we all make mistakes, with each other, but you teach us Lord.  Thank you Father.  In Jesus name, Amen

Whenever, I may get discouraged, sad, and with that sense, of hopeless, or feel God has not answered my prayers. I am quickly reminded, that Faith pleases God. So, I cannot speak, doubt. I cannot give up! I cannot let myself be defeated, and that would happen, if I gave up. Faith, is a constant, stirring of heart, and prayer, and taking the word, and applying it. Directly. God is faithful, Christ was faithful, by what He did on this earth, for all of us. By His healings, by His word, by His love, by His compassions. all I can do is just see what He did, and I know, that ALL things are possible, because of His love. DON’T GIVE UP ON GOD, OR YOUR ANSWER! PRAYERS CAN BE ANSWERED!!!!!

My Prayer of Hope,

Father, help me please, as I look to you.  Help my faith.  Help me to change my attitude.  Give me a spirit of belief, I admit, sometimes, things seem overwhelming.  You are God, I am just your child.  I admit, I have made mistakes, maybe even in my faith.  But, I do want to please you.  I repent.  And I seek you, already, I feel comfort.  And I feel Hope.  Yes, all things are possible with you.  I believe in you.  I believe, in me, and the answers are possible.  Thank you, in Jesus name.  Amen.

Christ is our greatest gift of Love, the greatest reminder, of true Love. For what He did on the cross, should inspire our hearts, with hope, in the possibilities of Love. Because He took the curse, off of us, that really, we deserved, because of our sin and the sin, passed from generation to generation. To take part, even now, to know, His great love, amazes me. I am so grateful, for the gift of Love, He has given me, in my husband, and son. And true friends. I am just grateful, for my salvation. It would grieve me to hurt our Lord. Any more, then I have, before I truly Knew Christ. I am just thankful for His love. A love, that heals me, because ALL things are possible with God. Remember, that dear friends, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE, WITH GOD, BECAUSE OF HIS LOVE, AND THE LOVE FROM CHRIST. His son. Love you all….HAPPY VALENTINES DAY….

My Prayer of Hope….

Father, I praise you, I humble myself, in your sight.  I am so moved by emotion today, so moved, by Love.  So grateful, how can I thank you?  How can I prove my love to you?  All I know, is you have changed me, and yet sometimes, I have to be honest, I am not able to do things, and I need help.  I need your help.  I get sad, I get, frustrated.  And then I ponder on you.  This is why I am reminded, all things are possible with you.  ALL things.  So I ask for forgiveness, even now, and just look to you with Love.  Reminded of the beautiful sacrifice of Christ, that changes me, from moment to moment.  In love.  Your love, Father, thank you Lord Jesus.  I LOVE YOU LORD!  Amen 

SCRIPTURE FOOD FOR THOUGHT~WISDOM DO YOU SEEK IT, OR DO YOU HATE THOSE WHO TRY TO TELL YOU CHRIST IS THE WAY? FOR JUST INSTRUCTION. DO YOU REBEL?

AND SAY, HOW HAVE I HATED INSTRUCTION, AND MY HEART DESPISED REPROOF; AND HAVE NOT OBEYED THE VOICE OF MY TEACHERS, NOR INCLINED MINE EAR TO THEM THAT INSTRUCTION.  PROVERBS 5:12-13.  

Maybe this sounds like you….or someone you know.  Have you ever met or known someone, who you tried to share Christ with, or just some good common Bible, sense, and they turned away?  They would not heed the instruction.  Some people, are just naturally rebellious.  To actually, even admit there is a problem. They got angry, or they just rejected you?  Just for telling them…

You see, they are lost.  You see, they need guidance, one just can see, that they need God.  It is sad, because the Bible tells us the devil blinds us.  When especially, you see rejection of God, you see, that a person is walking in darkness.  And they like it.  What is even sadder, is if you share a word with someone, and they claim they are a Christian, and they get angry.

And when someone likes the darkness, and they seek evil, or will not listen, all you really can do is pray for someone.  God can turn it around.  I love the Proverbs, in the Bible, such sweet wisdom, really.  Because the key to unlocking spiritual matters, that applies to each one of us, comes from the Word of God.  It is alive.  Gods word is not corrupted.

 If I could give anyone any just simple advice right now, I would share this, to find your way.  WISDOM IS THE PRINCIPAL THING; THEREFORE GET WISDOM:  AND WITH ALL THY GETTING GET UNDERSTANDING.  PROVERBS 4:7  

Dear one, search for Christ, first, He will guide you.  But He will speak to you in His word.  Don’t let go of this chance.  Tomorrow is not promised to anyone.  Either heaven or hell.  Don’t regret not making the right choice.  You can have heaven, with Christ.  And no one else.  The Bible will tell you ALL of this.  Just look for wisdom there.

My Prayer of Hope…

Lord, I pray for the reader, to find His or Her way.  To be careful, not to get angry, or to turn away from truth, from maybe someone, who is trying to help them.  To not get prideful in such matters.  You lift the humble, and turn from the proud.  Pride, can stop us, from getting wisdom.  Help us, all, to be humble, to not get angry, with truth, and love.  And if we are going to share, let us use l0ve, so we do not cause someone to stumble, or to turn away from your truth.  In Jesus name, I ask for wisdom, as well in you.  Amen

SCRIPTURE FOOD FOR THOUGHT~FOR ANSWERS TO PRAYER, “REPENT” FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT TO INTERCEDE FOR YOU

Solomon’s Prayer….

When thy people Israel be smitten down before the enemy, because they have sinned against Thee, and shall turn again to Thee, and confess Thy name, and pray and make supplication unto Thee in this House.  Then hear thou in Heaven, and forgive the sin, of Thy people Israel and bring them again unto the land which Thou gavest unto their fathers.  I Kings 8 33-34

Don’t ever think your prayers, just go into the air, and just disappear. God hears them.

But one thing, I am learning, more and more. Is holiness, is required, for our prayers, to be answered. The Holy Spirit, will intercede for us. But because the Holy spirit is holy, it will not enter into a situation, if sin is present.

Repentance, daily, is so important. Yes, even if you have made Christ your savior. Remember we all sin, we all come short of His glory. But we must come to God, with all our hearts, with all our souls, with all our might. Fervent for Him. In His Holiness.

Try this, and see your prayers, get answers.  God is faithful to His word.  Here in this scripture of I Kings 8:33-34, we see, Solomons example of prayer, and here He says, when they “repent”  forgive.

Scripture Food for thought, when you Pray, seeking answers to prayer, remember to repent, daily.  So the Holy spirit, who is Holy will intercede for you.  Heres another morsel, of Gods food for thought, to reinforce this, for your understanding.  

Psalm 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.

My Prayer of Hope…

Father, humble before you, I seek your face, your Kingdom and your righteousness.  Who can know their secret sins?  Who can always know, when sin, is present?  But knowing Your Holy Spirit, I know, you will not be near, if sin is present.  

I know, you, Father, Lord God Almighty, you are Holy, and you, call me to holiness.  I repent, even here, in this prayer, for sins, unknown, known, daily, taking my spirit, to the obedience of Christ.  Taking my spirit to you, in repentance, and asking even here for forgivness.  Asking, please answer my prayers.  As I repent.  Asking for mercy, for you are a Holy good, God.  

Thank you for the scripture of I Kings 8:33-34, for Solomons prayer, even here, to give guidelines, in prayer.  To give insight, and yes, by your Holy Spirit.  Forgive me Lord, in your mercy, and please answer me.  

And help me, remind me, prompt me, if there is anything that offends you, by your Holy spirit, speak to me, so I will not do this ever again.  And to be mindful, of how sin separates me, from you.  Help the reader in this as well.  

I know, now more then ever, holiness, is required.  I want to commit, to repent daily.  For thoughts, for looking, for whatever, could offend you.  I know, I can only come before you humble, daily repenting, in your sight.  With no pride, for you lift the humble, and turn from the proud.  In Jesus name.  Amen

SCRIPTURE FOOD FOR THOUGHT ~ ARE YOU READY TO FEAR GOD, TO SERVE HIM, IN TRUTH AND LOVE?

NOW THEREFORE FEAR THE LORD: AND SERVE HIM IN SINCERITY AND IN TRUTH; AND PUT AWAY THE GODS WHICH YOUR FATHERS SERVED ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FLOOD, AND IN EGYPT; AND SERVE YE THE LORD.  JOSHUA 24:14 

Gods word is specific.  And if you want to serve God, you must be sincere, in truth.  In yes, the fear of God.  You cannot have idols, or things, or priorities, that take the place of God.  For God is a jealous God.

It is a commitment, I can even say that here,  for myself.  I have found, in my own walk, it is a matter of disciplining myself.  By prayer, by seeking God, and His word, by listening by His Holy Spirit.

I hear so many people, say, they want to serve God.  And that is wonderful.  But, I have learned again, and again, what is the motive, in wanting to serve God?  It must be known.  Is it fame?  Is it money, or is it really truly, about what Christ, said.  And that is to go out into the world, and teach the gospel?

Are you ready to be tested?  Are you willing, to give with all your heart, for His glory.  For Gods agenda.  Dear one, I remember, when I decided to serve God, with all my being, and it meant I had to know God, by Jesus Christ, and to give it my all and all, instead of just giving lip service.  

I will give you a clue, and with all that is said, and done.  Love has to be evident.  Love has to be a priority.  To God, and to others.  We cannot say, we love, God, and want to serve Him, if our priorities, are not on love.  With others, with our families, with those who need to hear a good word, or more importantly, with God.  This fruit, of Love, must be evident, for it will bring truth.

Are you ready to fear God, to serve Him, in truth, and love?  Do you know?

My Prayer of Hope…..

Father, you know the heart, you know the intention, of each one of us.  So many times, I, myself, I have had to stop, and look and see within, what are my motives?  What do you see?  When prayers are not answered.  I have wondered, if I, myself, am doing that which is right, in your sight.  Am I spending too much time on this, or that, but not spending time with you?  Is my love evident?  Am I doing everything, I possibly can, that brings you glory honor, and praise?  Lord, only you can answer these questions.  For each one of us.  But I do say this, because you know the truth, and by your Holy Spirit, either present or not, we I believe, must know the truth as well.  According to your word.  In prayer, and in seeking your wisdom, your guidance.  Lord, may everything, I do be in love, and for your glory.  In fear of you, for you are the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.  My desire, is to serve you, in truth, and love.  And I am willing to put away anything, that would offend you.  I must let your word, be food for my spirit.  To serve you in truth, and love.  In Jesus name.  Amen

SCRIPTURE FOOD FOR THOUGHT~ARE YOU HARDENING YOUR HEART TO GOD OR IS HE HARDENING YOUR HEART BECAUSE YOU DO NOT BELIEVE? Hmmmmm

AND THE LORD SAID UNTO MOSES, GO INTO UNTO PHARAOH; FOR I HAVE HARDENED HIS HEART, AND THE HEART OF HIS SERVANTS.  THAT I MIGHT SHOW THESE MY SIGNS BEFORE HIM:  Exodus 10:1

I find it interesting, throughout the reading of Exodus, here, and there is reference, that Pharaoh, had his heart, hardened, to the pleas, and to the cries of the people, of God, and continually, resisted, Moses, and the signs, God had given him, to free the people.  Over and over again, Moses, had to show some sign, of Gods power, and yet, Pharaoh, resisted, and would not relent.  Until finally…..

I want you to see, this, because, maybe, somehow, or another, you can see, the parallel, to this in  your own life.  Is your heart hardened, to the things, God has been calling you to?  Are you indifferent?  Are you, totally disregarding Gods word, His commandments, His pleas to you, to seek Him?  To perhaps, receive your salvation?  To even pray, are you totally looking at God, from an intellectual level, and not a spiritual level, where you can have a relationship with God, through Jesus Christ?

God will leave you, with your hardened heart.  For He is a gentleman.  If thats what you really want.  Yet, he will try and coax you, but what is your part in this?  I find it ironic, because really He is the keeper of our hearts.  What signs do you need to see, that it is time, to make more of a commitment to God?  What signs does it take, for you, to stop this stalling, and truly seek the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.  You may be in sin.  You may be troubled, frustrated, and just lost.  What will it take, signs from the Bible?  Supernatural signs?

Or just a simple tugging at the heart, that says, I AM HERE, I AM KNOCKING ON YOUR HEART.  OPEN THE DOOR, AND SEEK ME.  JESUS.  READ REVELATION 3:20.

My Prayer of Hope….

Lord, I know, as I praise you, here, in this prayer, that when my heart, is hard, it is because I am resisting your love, your commandments, your truth.  I pray, for myself, but I pray for the reader in this.  That in order to look at our hearts, we have to see, you created us, to come to you, to seek you,  To obey you, and when we do not, the consequences, are always chaotic, they are always self-centered.  They are always prideful.  An atheist, does not know, their heart is hard, because they do not know you.  But once we do, what a difference, you make in our heart, if we let Jesus in.  I pray, this reader, will take this to heart, and let you in his or her heart, for a difference.  For life, for now, and yes for eternity.  In Jesus name.  Amen.
